Am letzten Samstag, den 08.06.2024, erfolgte bei Gulf Island Shipyards in Houma, LA die Christening Ceremony für das Bergungsschiff CHEROKEE NATION T-ATS 7. Es handelt sich um das zweite Bergungsschiff der NAVAJO-Klasse im Bau. Zwei weitere Einheiten werden in Houma gebaut. Vier Einheiten befinden sich im Bau bei Austal USA in Mobile, AL.
